Before leaving the stage, Bon Jovi told the crowd not to throw away their ticket stubs and said the show would likely be rescheduled. He also thanked fans, gave a thumbs up and hugged his band as the audience cheered.
A spokesperson for Bon Jovi told Rolling Stone that the singer has been dealing with a sinus infection, which led to the early finish. The statement said updated information about the show will be available soon.
The concert was part of the Bon Jovi residency at Madison Square Garden. Bon Jovi recently returned to touring with the Forever tour after previously taking time off to recover from vocal cord surgery.
