Jessica Simpson shared photos from a tropical birthday trip to Turks and Caicos, according to E! News. In an Instagram post on Aug. 3, she described the getaway as “belated birthday moments in paradise” at Cabuya Villa.
Simpson wrote that the trip included sunshine, boat days, a private beach, good food and a friendly staff. In the photos, she wore a bikini top with a maxi skirt, along with a statement belt and sunglasses.
She also posted pictures of herself relaxing in a leopard-print bikini, eating salad with a view of the ocean and palm trees, and unwinding near a fireplace overlooking the pool and water. Another image showed a birthday cake decorated with rainbow sprinkles and candles that read “4” and “6.”
The post came as Simpson continues a new chapter in her life following her breakup from Eric Johnson last January. According to E! News, she has recently spoken about feeling like she is starting over and returned to the stage for the first time in more than a decade.
