Jessica Alba and her 18-year-old daughter Honor celebrated a major family milestone with matching tattoos before Honor leaves for Yale University, according to E! News.
Honor shared a photo on Instagram in July showing the two holding hands in a car, along with the caption, “me x mama.” Tattoo artist WINTERSTONE later posted a closer look at the designs, which feature an eye and an infinity symbol.
According to the post, Jessica had her tattoo placed on the outside of her forearm, while Honor chose the inside of her wrist. WINTERSTONE described the matching ink as an unforgettable experience the two will share forever.
Jessica has also been open about how emotional she feels as her eldest child prepares for college. In an interview published Aug. 19, she told People that the milestone is intense for any parent and said you simply have to deal with it when the time comes.
The actress shares Honor, as well as daughter Haven and son Hayes, with ex-husband Cash Warren. She said in May, when Honor graduated from high school, that she was crying because her daughter is “the most incredible human in the whole world.”
