Jennifer Lawrence traded her signature blonde hair for a brunette look during an outing in New York City on July 9, according to E! News. The Oscar winner wore her hair in a tousled ponytail with face-framing bangs.
The darker style marked Lawrence’s deepest shade in more than 10 years and called back to the look she wore during her Hunger Games era. E! News also noted that the hairstyle was reminiscent of her Silver Linings Playbook character, Tiffany Maxwell.
For the outing, Lawrence wore a graphic T-shirt, oversized white trousers, brown sandals and a red purse. The actress is 35 and is a mom to Cy, 4, as well as a second son born in 2025 with husband Cooke Maroney.
The E! News story also mentioned that Lawrence has spoken publicly about postpartum changes and cosmetic procedures, including Botox and a possible future facelift, but her New York appearance focused on the hair change that drew attention.
