Jana Kramer is reflecting on one of the most unusual gifts she ever received during a relationship: a horse. On the July 26 episode of her Whine Down podcast, the One Tree Hill alum said the horse was given to her by a partner in the early 2010s.
Kramer said the horse, named Hank, was taken away after the breakup. She did not identify which former boyfriend gave her the animal, according to E! News.
She added that when the relationship ended, it made sense for the horse to stay at an equine therapy facility where it was already living. Kramer also joked that, because she was touring at the time, she was not about to keep a horse in East Nashville and transport it in her Camaro.
Now, Kramer says she is thinking about horseback riding again because her daughter Jolie has been asking to get involved. She said she was surprised by how costly and intense the sport can be, but after watching Jolie at a horseback riding event, she said her daughter looked confident, happy and completely comfortable.
