Jamie T has announced a new album titled Ghosts (100 Days of Morning) and shared its lead single, “3310,” according to NME.
The record is set to arrive on October 9 through Polydor Records. It will follow his 2022 album The Theory of Whatever.
In a press release, the 11-track album was described as a set of “former ghosts” or ideas that were revived during a difficult period in Jamie T’s life. The songs are said to explore growing up, leaving youth behind, love, loss, and trying to move on from an older version of yourself.
Jamie T said the album is about recognizing a part of yourself that you may have kept distant, and trying to reconnect with it. He also said the project is his way of trying to find that feeling again.
Along with the album news, Jamie T released “3310,” which is described as an anthemic track driven by bold lyrics and energetic guitars. The single comes with a video filmed at the seaside and directed by Rob Thorogood. Jamie T has also announced a one-off show at Scala in London on August 20.
