Britney Spears says Beyoncé is the artist she has been listening to most these days, according to Billboard. In a recent Instagram post, Spears shared videos of herself dancing to Beyoncé’s music and said she keeps going back to the singer’s latest album, Cowboy Carter.
Spears also wrote that she finds herself returning to Beyoncé’s earlier work, calling it “naughty” in the post. In one of the clips, she appeared to make up choreography to older songs, including “Haunted” from Beyoncé’s 2014 self-titled album.
The videos also showed Spears dancing in a short black dress and heels to songs by Rihanna, including “Love on the Brain” and “Unfaithful.” Spears and Rihanna previously collaborated on “S&M.”
Billboard reports that Spears has shared dance videos on Instagram for years, and the new post comes months after her suspected DUI arrest in March, which was later reduced to a lesser “wet reckless” charge. After the arrest, she checked herself into a treatment facility.
Separately, The Hollywood Reporter said in July that “New Girl” creator Liz Meriwether was attached to adapt Spears’ 2023 memoir The Woman in Me into a film.
