HEALTH and members of Ice Nine Kills and Periphery are among the artists helping shape the soundtrack for the new role-playing game Crimson Moon, according to NME.
The game is set to launch on September 1 from indie studio ProbablyMonsters and is described as a gothic high renaissance action-adventure RPG built around replayable missions. It will be released on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
Players take on the role of Nephilim, human-angel hybrids created to defend humanity, and battle through the city of Gildenarch. The official description says the game combines brutal combat with character progression, and includes both solo and co-op play.
The soundtrack was composed by Chris Wilson and ProbablyMonsters music manager Steve Pardo. They also worked with HEALTH, Ice Nine Kills’ Ricky Armellino, Periphery’s Misha Mansoor and metal YouTuber Jared Dines on four original tracks for the game’s boss fights.
