On MTV’s The Challenge, romantic connections have become nearly as familiar as host T.J. Lavin reminding players that he has no patience for quitters, according to E! News.
Although the competition is not designed as a dating show, relationships have often formed in the house and continued after filming. E! News notes that Season 42, titled Cutthroat, is set to debut on Paramount+ on Aug. 5.
The article points to Olivia Kaiser and Theo Campbell as one example, saying Kaiser later revealed she was pregnant after winning the series’ 41st season. Their child, Atlas, is now 8 months old, according to the report.

News also highlights several other couples who connected on the series, including Kam Williams and Leroy Garrett, who met on The Challenge: Vendettas, later became engaged, and eloped in Detroit on Aug. 5, 2025.
