Fontaines D.C. have confirmed that their fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, is coming soon through XL Recordings, according to Stereogum. The band shared the title on social media with a video set to “Six Shot Morning,” one of the new tracks they recently debuted.
The announcement follows the group’s first show in nearly a year last weekend, when they introduced new songs in Cádiz, Spain. No exact release date has been set yet for the album.
Fans can currently pre-order a numbered first pressing of the LP through the band’s shop for 24 hours. The listing says it costs $28.03 and is expected to ship in late 2026, with the sleeve number assigned at random.
Fontaines D.C. also played La Route du Rock in Fort-de-Saint-Père, France, where they were joined by Kurt Vile for “Roman Holiday,” according to Stereogum. In a 2022 interview, Grian Chatten said the song was inspired by Vile’s relaxed style and easygoing stage presence.
