A sheep that escaped from its pasture in Germany ended up on the property of bus company RVM in Lüdinghausen, where it climbed into a parked bus that had been left unlocked, according to UPI Odd News.
The driver found the animal during a walk-through after returning to the vehicle to check for litter. RVM then contacted local police and rancher Stefan Naber, who was identified as the sheep’s owner by a plastic tag in its ear.
While waiting for Naber to arrive, the sheep reportedly went through the company’s bus-sized car wash. Officials said the animal stayed calm throughout the unusual journey.
Naber later loaded the sheep into a trailer for the trip home. RVM spokesman Tino Nitsch said employees were amused by the surprise passenger, and the sheep will be featured in the next issue of the company’s employee magazine.
