Drum ’n’ bass DJ Bou invited a British Airways flight attendant onstage in Las Vegas after a clip of her dealing with a disruptive passenger on his flight went viral, according to NME.
Bou was flying from London’s Heathrow Airport to Las Vegas when he recorded the incident and shared it on Instagram Stories. In the clip, flight attendant Sophie Turner can be heard firmly warning a passenger to stay seated.
According to the report, Bou spent the rest of the 10-hour flight turning Turner’s words into a drum and bass track. He later found out she was a fan, and the two exchanged messages after she saw his social media post.
Bou debuted the song, titled “STAY SEATED,” during his set at We All Scream in Las Vegas on Thursday, August 6, and brought Turner onstage to applause from the crowd. British Airways said disruptive or abusive behavior is never tolerated on board and that the safety of customers and crew remains its top priority.
