Traffic on Smith Enke Road was closed in both directions between Santa Rosa Drive and Desert Greens Drive after a crash this afternoon, according to InMaricopa.
The collision happened around 12:40 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Santa Rosa Drive. An InMaricopa reporter said a white Ram ProMaster van with damage to the driver’s side and deployed airbags was still at the scene.
Police redirected vehicles in both directions while crews removed debris from the road.
Information about injuries or what may have caused the crash was not immediately available.
