Queens Of The Stone Age have released a new single called “Easy Street,” marking the band’s first new music since 2023, according to NME.
The track first made its live debut last autumn during the group’s Catacombs tour and later became a regular part of the setlist, where it quickly gained favor with fans. The studio version arrived today, Tuesday July 14, through Matador.
“Easy Street” blends acoustic guitar, psychedelic synths and a rough-edged, laidback feel. The song also features singer Nikki Lane, whose raw vocals contrast with Josh Homme’s lead vocal.
Homme said the band recorded the track in a loose, demo-like way, leaving in imperfections rather than polishing them out. An official video, directed by Tony Wolski and Christopher Gruse, accompanies the release.
Queens Of The Stone Age are currently on tour opening for System Of A Down in the UK and Europe, and later this summer they will support Foo Fighters on the North American leg of their stadium run.
