Residents in a Colorado neighborhood were puzzled after a car horn sounded through the night, according to UPI Odd News.
By morning, they discovered the source of the noise was a bear trapped inside a closed SUV, leaning on the horn from the front seat. Patrick Sullivan shared cellphone video of the scene in Gold Hill.
The footage shows a man using a long rope to pull open one of the vehicle’s doors from a distance, giving the bear a way to get out. The animal then climbed free and ran away.
Residents said the bear damaged the SUV’s side panel and set off the driver’s side airbag.
