Calvin Harris welcomed Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno on stage during his two sold-out Hampden Park concerts in Glasgow, according to NME. The shows marked Harris’ biggest hometown performances to date and drew a combined crowd of 100,000 across two nights.
Harris performed a string of his best-known songs, including ‘We Found Love’, ‘Bounce’ and ‘Feel So Close’, along with his collaboration with Pizzorno, ‘Release The Pressure’. Pizzorno appeared as a special guest on both nights and sang from a small platform in the middle of the stadium while Harris performed on the main stage.
After the show, Harris posted a tribute to Pizzorno on Instagram, and Pizzorno responded by saying, “You turned the home of Scottish football into the home of dance music!” Harris also brought out Clementine Douglas for ‘Blessings’ during the Glasgow dates.
To celebrate the Hampden Park concerts, Harris also launched a limited-edition “rave haggis” in partnership with Scottish butcher Stahly Quality Foods. According to the website, the product was presented as a tribute to Scottish culture and was sold both at the shows and online.
