The Arizona Department of Transportation has canceled the overnight lane restrictions that had been planned for Monday through Wednesday on State Route 347, according to InMaricopa.
Another round of paving work is now scheduled to begin Thursday, bringing new overnight and weekend restrictions along the roadway.
On Thursday, Aug. 6, southbound SR 347 will be reduced to one lane between Riggs Road and Mammoth Way from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday for paving.
From Friday, Aug. 7 through Monday, Aug. 10, both northbound and southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane in the same area from 8 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Monday. Drivers are being asked to slow down, merge safely and allow extra time, and the schedule may change because of weather or other unexpected issues.
