Bring Me The Horizon performed the new ‘Repented’ version of their 2006 debut album ‘Count Your Blessings’ in full at Manchester’s BEC Arena on July 10, according to NME.
The Sheffield band had announced in April that they would play the record as part of a show billed as ‘Outbreak Presents: Count Your Blessings | Repented.’ The idea, they said, was to “reactivate” the album rather than simply rely on nostalgia.
Frontman Oli Sykes delivered several songs that had not been performed live for more than 10 years. The set included the first-ever live performance of recently released track ‘Dehumanized,’ while ‘Slow Dance’ was played live for the first time since 2006. ‘Black & Blue,’ ‘Tell Slater Not to Wash His Dick,’ and ‘A Lot Like Vegas’ also returned to the stage for the first time since 2009.
After the concert, fans posted reactions on social media describing the night as a return to the band’s “golden era.” One fan called it a “generational full circle moment,” according to NME.
