Brian Hickerson was seen out in Greenville, South Carolina, on Aug. 19, just three days after Hayden Panettiere died there at age 36, according to E! News.
In photos described by the outlet, Hickerson kept a low profile as he left in a beige hoodie, white T-shirt, matching cap and sunglasses before getting into the passenger seat of an SUV.
E! News also reported details from a Greenville Police Department report showing that Hickerson and his brother Zach Hickerson called 911 to an apartment complex in the Judson neighborhood shortly after 1 p.m. Officers found first responders performing CPR on Panettiere, who, according to police, did not appear to have an obvious physical reason for being unresponsive.
The report said Zach was very emotional while efforts were being made to revive Panettiere, while Brian did not become emotional until medical workers pronounced her dead just after 2:30 p.m. Police said Brian, identified by his brother as Panettiere's boyfriend, later gave investigators a bag of medication the actress had been taking. An autopsy was performed, but officials have not yet determined a cause of death.
