Brandon Flowers shares nostalgic new single 'Tiger's Blood'

Brandon Flowers has released a new solo single called “Tiger’s Blood,” according to Rolling Stone. The song arrives before his upcoming album Thrasher, which is set for release Aug. 21, 2026 through Island Records.

Flowers first performed the Springsteen-influenced track last week at Newport Folk Fest. Like the rest of the album, it was recorded in Nashville with his longtime producers Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado.

In the song, Flowers reflects on memories from earlier days, pairing the lyrics with a nostalgic, anthemic feel. He has already released “Paradise,” “Plans,” and a live version of the latter filmed at RCA Studio A.

The album also features contributions from musicians including David Rawlings, Bruce Bouton and Charlie McCoy. Flowers plans to tour in support of Thrasher this fall, starting Sept. 1 in Phoenix and ending Oct. 6 in Las Vegas.

In an album trailer, Flowers said he has “unlocked” a room in music that had been waiting for him: country western. He also recently told the Times that he has questioned whether to keep making music, though he said live performance still gives him powerful reasons to continue.
