A library in Wales recently received two overdue books back after an astonishing 116 years, according to UPI Odd News.
Conwy Libraries said on social media that Mr. O'Sullivan brought the books to Llanrwst Library, where his grandfather, Walter Griffith Owen, had checked them out in 1910 from what was then the Llanrwst Public Library and Reading Room.
The post said Owen served in both World Wars and was stationed in Conwy during World War II.
Library staff said they were excited to handle the books and meet Mr. O'Sullivan for a photo, adding that they were glad to be part of the family story.
