A Blue Angels flyover caused a brief scene at Pensacola Beach on Wednesday morning when strong wind from a low pass sent beach gear into the air, according to UPI Odd News.
Video taken by beachgoers showed hats, chairs, umbrellas and tents being blown around as one of the planes banked sharply during the pass.
The flyover was part of the Blue Angels’ "Breakfast with the Blues" air show, which is scheduled to run through Saturday. People on the beach described feeling both startled and excited by the close pass.
No injuries were reported. In a statement, the U.S. Navy said the jet flew lower than standard profiles and disturbed civilian chairs and umbrellas, and that leaders are reviewing the circumstances and conducting a safety review.
