Billy Strings was hit in the head by an object thrown from the crowd during a concert Thursday night at Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana, according to Stereogum.
The incident happened in the middle of his set while Strings was speaking between songs. He was not injured or bleeding, but the moment clearly upset him.
In a video from the show, Strings reacted angrily and asked why someone would throw something at him. He also told the audience to find out who did it.
Strings is playing the first of three shows at the venue. Stereogum also noted that he has been using a wheelchair at times after breaking his leg while skateboarding backstage earlier this year.
