Megan Moroney surprised fans at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday night, July 9, when Benson Boone joined her onstage after she performed her version of “Beautiful Things,” according to Billboard.
The pair then sang Boone’s hit of the same name together. Moroney joked during the moment, “Why not ‘Beautiful Things’ twice in one night?” according to People, as Boone wore pink and reacted while Moroney took over the vocals.
Boone’s “Beautiful Things,” released in 2024, became his breakout single. The song reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent 89 weeks on the chart.
Moroney’s “Beautiful Things” arrived last year as well, debuting on the Hot 100 in November and later climbing to No. 32 in March. Both artists are currently on tour, with Moroney supporting her album Cloud 9 and Boone launching his Wanted Man Tour earlier this week.
