Beck has released a new single titled “Disappearing Act,” according to NME. The track is the latest preview from his upcoming 15th studio album, Ride Lonesome, which arrives September 18 through Capitol.
The acoustic song has a sparse, atmospheric feel, with Beck handling production and longtime Radiohead collaborator Nigel Godrich on mixing duties. It is the third song he has shared from the album, following the title track and “In The Night.”
Ride Lonesome will serve as Beck’s follow-up to 2019’s Hyperspace. The record also comes after this year’s rarities and covers collection, Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime.
According to NME, the album reconnects Beck with musicians from his earlier work on Sea Change, Morning Phase, and Mutations. His North American tour is set to begin on September 16 in Vancouver.
