Brenda Song is looking back on the Disney Channel outfits that helped make her a tween-era style standout, and she says some of them still hold up today, according to E! News.
Song told E! that when she revisits looks from Get a Clue, she thinks her 14-year-old self was “cooking,” adding that she would wear the outfit now. She said that is part of what she loves about fashion: styles eventually come back around, with a few updates.
The actress has also teamed up with Marshalls to create an edit that includes pieces meant to bring a subtle Disney Channel feel to modern outfits. The collection draws inspiration from some of her most recognizable early-2000s looks.
Song said she still owns several memorable items from her Disney Channel days, including a pink tweed set from the pilot episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and a recreation of Sharpay Evans’ “Bop to the Top” look from a High School Musical episode. She added that she still thinks about her soccer ball purse from Stuck in the Suburbs and wishes she had kept it.
