Barbara Palvin is opening up about the emotional side of pregnancy and the way body changes affected her, according to E! News.
The pregnant model said on the July 14 episode of the Wildmen podcast that seeing the number on the scale rise quickly, along with changes in her arms and stomach, made her start to spiral. She said the reaction was especially difficult because she has spent years dealing with body issues in the public eye.
Palvin said her husband, Dylan Sprouse, helped steady her during that period by reminding her that they are creating life together. The couple married in 2023 and are expecting their first child, a baby girl.
She also looked back on years of criticism in the modeling industry, saying she began working at 13 and was told as a teenager that she needed to lose weight. Palvin said she was later criticized in different ways, including being labeled a plus-size model at one point and then being called too skinny after losing weight.
