Kentucky 9-year-old sets Guinness record with 10-square hopscotch course

A 9-year-old from Bowling Green, Kentucky, has earned a Guinness World Records title for a fast hopscotch feat, according to UPI Odd News.

Daxton Hunter drew, numbered and completed a 10-square hopscotch course in 48.27 seconds, which set the mark in the under-16s category.

Hunter told WBKO-TV that he was motivated by his father and brother, who each already hold Guinness World Records titles. He said he looked for a record he could chase and settled on the hopscotch challenge.

His mother, Amelia Hunter, said he enjoys tough challenges and once he decides on a goal, he works to accomplish it. She said it was great to see him follow through and set the record.
