Audrey Hobert has shared a new NPR Tiny Desk Concert, performing songs from her debut album Who’s the Clown?, according to Pitchfork.
The set includes “Thirst Trap,” “Sue Me,” and other tracks from the album. Before performing “Phoebe,” Hobert explained her connection to Friends, saying she had seen all but one and a half seasons and wrote the song after seeing what she needed to see.
Pitchfork notes that Hobert has seen her profile rise since releasing Who’s the Clown? nearly a year ago. She was previously known for co-writing “That’s So True” with her childhood best friend Gracie Abrams.
Since then, Hobert has drawn large crowds at Governor’s Ball and Lollapalooza, sold out two North American tours, and released self-directed videos for “Silver Jubilee” and “Sex and the City.”
