Ariana Grande added fuel to speculation about a possible reunion with Ricky Alvarez after posting a pair of photos on Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 12, according to Billboard.
One image showed Alvarez with his arm around Grande while the two wore matching white T-shirts and denim, though both of their faces were cropped out. Grande tagged Alvarez in the post.
Another photo, which appeared to be a blurry mirror selfie flipped upside down, also included both of them, and Grande tagged him there as well. Fans interpreted the images as a sign that the pair may have gone “Instagram official.”
Grande and Alvarez have also been seen together in recent days, with fans spotting them at JFK Airport in New York City after she finished the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine Tour, according to Billboard. Grande previously changed the lyrics to “Thank U, Next” during a July 13 show in Brooklyn, swapping in the line, “We always find our way back.”
Grande and Alvarez dated for about a year from 2015 to 2016 after meeting on her Honeymoon Tour, where he worked as a backup dancer.
