Ariana Grande has launched a new mental health initiative aimed at supporting the people working around her on tour, according to Billboard. Her Brighter Days Ahead Foundation has teamed up with Backline to offer resources for the cast and crew of her Eternal Sunshine Tour.
As part of the partnership, Grande’s tour colleagues now have access to financial assistance for mental health support, along with Backline’s Case Management program. That service connects people with therapists, counselors and other wellness professionals.
To mark the launch, the foundation also handed out 200 tote bags filled with stress-relief items such as eye masks, lavender oil, resistance bands, chapstick and chamomile tea. Billboard reports that the bags went to members of Grande’s staff.
The effort also includes B-LINE, a 24-hour mental health support line for music industry workers run by Backline. According to Billboard, the line has already received calls from 400 people seeking help.
Grande first announced Brighter Days Ahead in June, saying the foundation would support several organizations through four funds, including help for the LGBTQ community and rapid aid for emergencies.
