Ariana Grande surprised fans in London by bringing her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo onstage for a performance of “For Good,” according to Rolling Stone.
The pair sang the song during Grande’s show at the O2 Arena, where they also performed a medley of “Get Happy” and “Happy Days Are Here Again.” The duet tied back to Wicked: For Good, the sequel film in which Grande and Erivo reprise their roles as Glinda and Elphaba.
Grande is currently in the middle of her Eternal Sunshine Tour, which is scheduled to wrap up with 10 shows at London’s O2 Arena. Her final concert is set for Sept. 1.
Earlier this month, Grande said she would be taking a “step back” after the tour. According to a statement her representative gave to People, that break will include stepping away from public-facing work and appearances.
Grande later told fans in Chicago that the decision was not made in reaction to anything sudden. She said it was a plan she had made long ago and described it as a thoughtful choice made from an empowered place.
