Slothrust have announced a new album called What They Grow In The Garden, which is set to arrive later this summer, according to Stereogum. The record follows the band’s 2021 release Parallel Timeline.
The Boston alt-rock group, now based in Los Angeles, also released two new songs today: “Ring The Bell” and “00101001.” Both tracks will appear on the upcoming album, along with “Burn The Deck,” a single the band shared earlier this year.
Leah Wellbaum and Will Gorin co-produced What They Grow In The Garden with Jordan Witzigreuter of The Ready Set. Stereogum notes that this is the band’s first album as a duo.
The album will include 12 tracks in all and is scheduled for release on September 18 through Equal Vision. Slothrust also shared the full tracklist with the announcement.
