All 2026 Heritage Live festivals cancelled amid low ticket sales

All 2026 Heritage Live festivals have been cancelled, according to organisers, after the events faced high costs and lower-than-expected ticket sales. The lineup was set to include performances from Eric Clapton, Richard Ashcroft, Christina Aguilera and others.

In a statement on the festival’s website, organisers said they were devastated by the decision and had been working to secure investment and equity support to keep the events going. They said that effort fell through at the last minute, leaving them unable to proceed.

Heritage Live said the financial pressure has been made worse by a difficult festival market, rising supplier, artist and staffing costs, and broader uncertainty linked to the cost-of-living crisis. Organisers said it would be irresponsible to continue without certainty that all bills for suppliers, artists and crew could be paid.

The festival asked ticket holders to follow the refund information provided and thanked supporters for backing the events over the past 10 years. Heritage Live has previously staged shows at the Sandringham Royal Estate, the Englefield Estate and the Audley End Estate, with past performers including Pet Shop Boys, Stereophonics, Tom Jones and Robbie Williams.
