The stars of Sam Mendes’ upcoming Beatles biopics have been seen recreating the band’s famous Abbey Road album cover, according to NME.
Footage posted by fans on social media shows Harris Dickinson, Barry Keoghan, Paul Mescal and Joseph Quinn dressed to match the look of John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and George Harrison on the 1969 cover. In one clip, Quinn, who is playing Harrison, crosses the road alone while the other actors walk past.
The project, titled The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, is currently set for a simultaneous release on April 7, 2028. Mendes is directing all four films, with each one focusing on a different member of the band.
According to NME, the films will be the first ever to receive music rights to the Beatles’ discography. The cast also includes Saoirse Ronan, Anna Sawai, Aimee Lou Wood and Mia McKenna-Bruce, who are set to portray Linda McCartney, Yoko Ono, Pattie Boyd and Maureen Starkey.
