A. G. Cook and Danny L Harle are revisiting music they made together years before their rise in experimental pop. According to Stereogum, the two artists originally worked as the duo Dux Content before launching PC Music.
The pair first began making music as teenagers, and in 2012 they self-released their debut album, Lifestyle. That record is now getting a newly remastered reissue to mark PC Music’s 13th anniversary.
The reissue adds two bonus tracks, “Business Class” and “Rouge,” which have not had a proper release until now. Stereogum notes that “Rouge” has been available on YouTube for 14 years, while “Business Class” has not.
The newly released version offers an early look at the sound that would later help shape hyperpop. The tracks are available to listen to now, according to Stereogum.
