Yard Act have partnered with Manchester-based independent clothing brand Blue Flowers for a new limited-edition collection, according to NME. The range is available to pre-order now, and stock is limited.
The collaboration includes several items, among them a trench coat, a denim jacket and an earflap hat. The trench coat nods to a look closely associated with singer James Smith during the band’s early days and first releases.
For this design, Smith created paintings of each band member that appear on the inside lining of the coat. The frontman’s artwork has also recently been shown publicly, with two of his paintings displayed at the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition until August 23.
As part of the release, the first 100 fans to order the trench coat or denim jacket will receive an original print of the band’s new album artwork, signed by the group on heavyweight 325 GSM art card. The collaboration follows the release of Yard Act’s third album, You’re Gonna Need A Little Music, which NME recently reviewed positively.
