Whitney Thore is engaged to Jake Beaudoin, just days after the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star made their relationship public on Instagram, according to People and E! News.
Thore said Beaudoin “has officially graduated from boyfriend to fiancé” and added, “We’re getting married, and we couldn’t be happier,” in an interview published Aug. 18.
She said the proposal caught her off guard, which made the moment feel even more meaningful. Thore also described the ring as beautiful and said there is a special story behind it that means a lot to them.
The couple confirmed their romance on Aug. 15 with Instagram photos, including one of them smiling together and another showing them kissing at Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Thore, 42, has previously spoken about wanting to become a mother someday and has discussed her fertility journey and PCOS.
