Chase & Status joined Skrillex on stage during his headline set at Boomtown 2026 this weekend, according to NME.
Skrillex closed out the Hydro XL stage at the Matterley Estate near Winchester on Sunday night, August 16, with a set that covered music from across his career and included material from his recent album SOMA.
Toward the end of the performance, the duo came out for a surprise back-to-back set. During that segment, they played an unreleased song featuring Brazilian vocals, prompting speculation among fans that the pair may have new music on the way.
After the show, Chase & Status posted on social media to thank Skrillex and the Boomtown crowd. NME also reported that Skrillex’s set was paused for about 20 minutes earlier in the night because of crowd-control concerns, during which he urged people in the audience to look out for one another.
