A California resident captured video of a large black bear visiting his home and swimming in his backyard pool, according to UPI Odd News.
David Rechtschaffen shared the footage from his Sierra Madre property on Sunday as temperatures climbed into the mid-90s.
In the video, the bear can be seen cooling off in the pool before eventually leaving on its own.
The report also noted another bear-related pool sighting in July, when Katie Cole of Colorado shared video of a bear visiting a kiddie pool she had filled on her backyard deck in the Steamboat Springs area.
