Layla Taylor says a free tummy tuck and breast surgery ended up costing her more in the long run, including a hernia near her bellybutton, according to E! News.
During an appearance on Hulu’s Get Real, Taylor said her first surgeries were done at no cost, but she later had to get her breasts redone. She also said the original tummy tuck, performed about two years ago after she had her children Oliver and Maxwell with ex-husband Clayton Wessel, was not repaired properly.
According to Taylor, the problem created a hole between her abdominal muscles where her belly button was. She said she noticed that her belly button sometimes looked like an outie, but she did not have it checked right away.
Taylor said a fan’s comment on a Coachella video finally pushed her to see a doctor. Looking back, she said she understands why she accepted the free procedures at the time, but now advises others to pay for surgery and choose a provider they know will do the job correctly.
