Taylor Swift is set to receive her second Hall of Fame induction later this year, according to Rolling Stone. On Tuesday morning, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame announced that Swift will be its youngest-ever member.
Swift will join a group that includes Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson. She was also inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June, becoming the youngest woman to receive that honor.
She will enter the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in the Contemporary Songwriter/Artists category. Other nominees in that category this year included Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton and Phil Vassar.
In a statement read by Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Executive Director Mark Ford, Swift said she had long viewed Nashville as the place where she wanted to build her career. She said the city gave her a community of storytellers and valued hard work, determination and imagination.
