Graham Norton says Taylor Swift had one simple request when she was booked late for an episode of The Graham Norton Show: she did not want any other guest removed to make space for her, according to E! News.
Norton told British GQ that Swift was added to the lineup at the last minute, which raised the possibility that someone would have to be bumped. He said word came back from Swift that no one should be displaced.
The episode featured Greta Lee, Lewis Capaldi, Cillian Murphy, Jodie Turner-Smith and Domhnall Gleeson alongside Swift. Norton said it turned out to be a strong show to appear on because everyone later ended up in Swift’s “Opalite” music video.
Swift said in an Instagram post in February that the idea for the video came after Gleeson joked during the interview about wanting to appear in one of her music videos. Swift said that inspired her to write a script for “Opalite” a week later and to include the other guests, including Norton, in the project.
