Construction is resuming on State Route 347, bringing another stretch of lane restrictions for drivers in Maricopa, according to InMaricopa.
Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, until 5 a.m. Friday for paving work. Then from Friday, Sept. 18, through Monday, Sept. 21, both directions will be limited to one lane around the clock for paving.
Additional nightly restrictions are set for Monday, Sept. 21, through Wednesday, Sept. 23, for materials testing. During that period, northbound traffic will be narrowed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., while southbound traffic will be narrowed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
More overnight lane restrictions are also scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24. ADOT advises drivers to slow down, obey posted speed limits, merge carefully and give themselves extra time while traveling through the work zone between Casa Blanca Road and Mammoth Way.
