Sophie Turner says she does not miss living in America after moving back to the U.K. in 2023, but she does miss one thing: the sun, according to E! News.
In an interview published Aug. 9 with The Sunday Morning Herald, the Game of Thrones alum said she has been happiest back home, surrounded by things she associates with Britain, including sarcasm, baked beans on toast, Jaffa Cakes and British chocolate.
Turner said the part of American life she missed most was pub culture, especially in spring when people gather outside and spill into the streets. She said New York offers some of that feeling, but she found it harder to experience while living in Los Angeles because so much of life there revolves around driving.
Turner also said returning to London helped her work through feelings of isolation from her time in America, and that acting has helped her process what has been happening in her life. She added that she is glad to be leaving her 20s behind after a difficult period that included her split from Joe Jonas.
Turner and Jonas share two children, Willa, 6, and Delphine, 4. Their divorce was filed in September 2023 and finalized in 2024.
