Kristen Stewart says she was impressed by the way her wife, Dylan Meyer, directed her in their new film, The Wrong Girls. In an interview with E! News, Stewart said Meyer has a “beautiful, delicate, gentle, inviting” style that helps bring a crew together.
Stewart said that kind of approach made the set feel collaborative, adding that people were eager to work for Meyer because she made the project feel like it belonged to everyone. She also said making the movie was a lot of fun.
Meyer returned the praise in the same joint interview, saying she had been interested in casting Stewart in the film years before they were romantically involved. She said Stewart was the right choice for the part, even if people were surprised by the casting.
The pair, who tied the knot in April 2025, have previously spoken publicly about their relationship and their shared plans for the future. Stewart has also said Meyer is a skilled writer and described their partnership as a strong creative match.
