The 2026 ESPY Awards red carpet brought together athletes and celebrities at Lincoln Center in New York City on July 15, according to E! News.
The event featured stars from across sports, including athletes connected to the 2026 Winter Olympics, who were eligible for this year’s awards. Among the early arrivals was Lindsey Vonn, who wore a sequined plum gown while recovering from injuries suffered in a crash at the Milano Cortina Games earlier this year.
Figure skater Alysa Liu, who is nominated for Best Breakthrough Athlete, also drew attention in a plunging brown Louis Vuitton dress. Other nominees mentioned by E! News include the U.S. men’s and women’s hockey teams, Mikaela Shiffrin, Hilary Knight and Paralympian Oksana Masters.
Jalen Brunson was also among the names expected on the carpet after leading the New York Knicks to their first NBA championship in more than 50 years. In the men’s sports category, he is up against Lionel Messi, Shohei Ohtani and Matthew Stafford.
Hosting this year’s ceremony is Saturday Night Live cast member Marcello Hernández, who said in a June 3 press release that it is an honor to host the ESPYs in New York.
