Sailor Honeymoon have created an exclusive playlist to accompany their latest appearance on NME’s The Cover, according to NME.
The South Korean punk trio’s playlist is titled “14.5 Hour Flight From Seoul To London” and includes a mix of artists from Korea and the west. Among the names featured are Hyangni, Drinking Boys And Girls Choir, Jaurim, Peach Truck Hijackers, The Breeders and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
The band are featured on this week’s edition of The Cover, NME’s weekly series spotlighting rising talent from around the world. Their profile was written by Rhian Daly and photographed by Annie Chung.
In the feature, guitarist and singer Zaeeun Shin said the band are focused on rejecting the pressure to appear perfect, while bassist Yelim Kim said their lyrics reflect their views on society. Sailor Honeymoon’s debut album, “The Worst Of Sailor Honeymoon,” is set to arrive with 13 tracks.
