Sadie Robertson says she and husband Christian Huff chose to practice abstinence before they got married, setting what she described as “physical boundaries” to stay true to their promise to God, according to E! News.
On the July 22 episode of her WOAH That’s Good podcast, Robertson revisited a 2021 conversation in which she and Huff talked about their decision. At the time, she said they wanted to pursue “God’s plan” for their relationship and described that plan as purity.
Robertson explained that she did not think strict rules would work for them, saying people often push right up to a boundary line. Instead, the couple decided to avoid a physical relationship altogether while they were dating and focus on their faith.
She also said the choice made their relationship feel more beautiful because it aligned with what they believed. Since marrying Huff in 2019, Robertson has welcomed three daughters: Honey, Haven and Kit.
