Reading & Leeds has announced what organisers are calling the festival’s “biggest staging and arena overhaul” ever for its 2026 edition, according to NME.
The dual festival will return to Little John’s Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds over the summer Bank Holiday weekend, from Thursday August 27 through Sunday August 30. Organisers say there will be up to six stages across the sites.
The main stage will be upgraded and renamed The Grid, while new additions include The Gallery and The Warehouse. Other planned stages include The Ballroom, The Canopy and, in Reading only, The Yard.
The line-up already announced includes headliners Fontaines D.C., Florence + The Machine, Dave, Charli XCX, RAYE and Chase & Status, with Kasabian set for a Thursday night Leeds-only slot. Melvin Benn told NME at Reading 2025 that he was confident about the artists booked for 2026 and said the festival was in a stronger position than he could remember for a long time.
